Youth Justice: Prison green paper looks to employers

Criminal justice minister Baroness Scotland said that the paper "will reinforce our other strands, such as the Corporate Alliance we launched to involve employers in reducing reoffending, and the National Reducing Reoffending Delivery Plan that launched in November".

Last week the minister visited youth charity Rainer's Break Free project, which trains ex-offenders. "Its holistic approach provides a good model," she said.

Baroness Scotland said the green paper, a joint document between the Department for Education and Skills and the Home Office, would "hopefully" be out by Christmas.
