The team will now be based in its Offender Management Unit, which was created in April as part of a restructure of senior management at the institution.
As part of the reshuffle, a reducing reoffending manager was hired to report directly to Feltham's governor. The new team will include offender supervisors who will deal with bail applications, supervise offenders, liaise for those on life sentences, undertake public protection work and help young people find employment.
A spokesman for the Home Office said: "Feltham has been documented in the past as having various issues. So this will be part of an ongoing process of making the prison fit for the 21st century."
