Youth Custody: Legal issues hold up Myatt inquest

The inquest into the death of Gareth Myatt has been adjourned for legal reasons.

Judge Richard Pollard had been expected to begin his summing up of the case last week, after hearing evidence for five weeks. But he instead announced the hearing would be adjourned until mid-July, as legal matters had to be resolved by a London court.

Myatt, 15, died in April 2004 after being restrained by officers at Rainsbrook Secure Training Centre.
