Youth centres get anti-bullying help

Youth Work
The government has published a guide to prevent bullying taking place in youth centres.

The Safe from Bullying in Youth Activities guide was published by the Department for Children, Schools and Families last month, and aims to help managers and youth workers recognise early signs of bullying and stop it from getting worse.

The advice deals with bullying that happens outside school, and includes special guidance on racist, religious, sexist, homophobic, cyber and mobile phone bullying.

- The guide can be downloaded from http://publications.everychildmatters.gov.uk.
