ENGLAND
Youth arts services are provided by a wide range of private, statutory and voluntary sector bodies. The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) takes the lead for youth arts but there is also an overlap with the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
Creative Partnerships - the Government's flagship creativity programme for schools and young people - focuses on the most deprived communities in England and aims to develop the creativity of young people, by raising their aspirations and achievements. It is managed by Arts Council England and funded by the DCSF and DCMS.
SCOTLAND
Youth arts in Scotland are supported by the Scottish Arts Council and local authorities as well as being funded by various charitable trusts such as the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.
