Calls about cannabis use account for more than a third of calls by under-25s, although the proportion of callers enquiring about the drug dropped by three per cent in the past financial year.
Calls about cocaine accounted for more than one in five calls from under-25s, but the proportion of callers concerned about the drug increased by almost two per cent between 2006/07 and 2007/08. Martha McBrier, quality and training executive at Frank, said: "It is clear that the Frank brand is recognised and people in general are aware of what we do. Calls from young men have been on the increase, they are commonly seeking advice on cannabis and cocaine use."
