Group leaders and young people are taking part in workshops and answering questionnaires to help identify the organisation's successes and shortfalls.
Members' responses will be used to help develop a self-evaluation scheme, due to be rolled out next year. Kirsty Palmer, general secretary of the Woodcraft Folk, said: "We want to capture the essence of the Woodcraft experience to ensure that all our members have the opportunity to enjoy it."
