Who runs it? The Welsh Assembly Government commissioned the Sports Council for Wales and Media4Schools to run the 5x60 programme.
How does it work? Teachers and pupils are trained in media production by Media4Schools, which then supports them as they produce a range of short films. So far, films have featured kayaking, water polo, skiing, mountain biking, basketball and street dance.
What next? After the pupils' films are completed, they are put up on the 5x60 project website. The project is also planning to send 5x60 officers out to work in secondary schools, to create a range of activities for young people who have lost interest in sports.
