Warwickshire Association of Young Clubs gains international recognition

Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs has gained international recognition from the Council of Europe for its 2007 project in the city of Kazan in central Russia.

The association is the only UK project provider selected to be included in the Council of Europe's All Different, All Equal Cookbook, which lists projects supported by the council. The Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs project was entitled Participation Across the Borders and involved 10 young people from the county, as well as participants from Denmark and Russia. The young people took part in an exchange that allowed them to participate in forum theatre, which addressed topics such as violence and bullying in schools.
