VOLUNTARY SECTOR: Reach for the Sky gets new identity

It was also due to be announced at the charity's annual general meeting this week that satellite broadcaster Sky and the Learning and Skills Council are to provide 500,000 towards the scheme for another year.

Reach for the Sky, which provides DJ-ing, music production and media skills experiences for young people, will be extended from one to three days.

Weston Spirit is set to introduce other changes in a five-year strategic plan that will be launched next April.

Paul Oginsky, co-founder and strategic director of the charity, said: "We will be launching new initiatives, one of which is our engage, motivate and signpost service, EMS."
