Honor Rhodes quit last week, less than 18 months into the job. She said:"There is a divergence of opinion between the governors and myself."
Coram's chairman Christopher Benson suggested Rhodes was leaving becausegovernors blocked her expansion plans. He said: "She clearly came to theconclusion she was not going to achieve what she had in mind. I thinkshe may have wanted to expand the operation outside London more quicklythan the governors thought was prudent."
