1 min read

The national executive of the Community and Youth Workers' Union (CYWU) will ask its members to back a merger with the Transport and General Workers' Union (TGWU).

Doug Nicholls, general secretary of the CYWU, said: "It would add considerable strength to the representation of youth and community workers. We already have an agreement with the TGWU and we have been guaranteed a specialist section."
