Aim: To re-engage young people, inform them about local training opportunities and develop their skills and confidence

Attempts to keep young people out of trouble in Telford are being boosted by a project aiming to help them find work.

As part of the Turnaround project, run by Telford and Wrekin Council, it is hoped young people will be informed about training opportunities, re-engaged and helped to develop their skills and confidence.

Supported by the Learning and Skills Council and West Midlands Leaders Board, the project is backed with more than £700,000 in funding from the European Social Fund.
