TRAINING: Prince's Trust to use football grounds

1 min read

The FA Premier League, Football Foundation and Professional Footballers' Association have donated the money to Team, which helps young people back into work, education or training through free 12-week courses.

Clubs such as Arsenal and Plymouth Argyle are among 55 professional teams across England providing facilities to support the courses. Participants do not have to pay and are still eligible for State benefits.

Team courses, which were originally launched in 2001, combine teamworking on projects in the community, work placements such as football coaching, a residential week and a chance to gain qualifications. Club staff also provide confidence-building and motivational activities.
