The Royal Bank of Scotland - Skills & Opportunities Fund

1 min read Children's Services Management Funding

The Skills and Opportunities Fund by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) supports organisations that help children, young people and older people in disadvantaged communities. It does this by providing funding to organisations that help these disadvantaged people to develop, create or access skills and opportunities they can use to help themselves, or skills that will help them into work.

Who will it fund?

Funding is available for non-profit organisations, state-funded schools or colleges and registered charities. However, projects interested in applying for funding must focus on a disadvantaged community in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Furthermore, RBS splits the country into seven regions. Each one has its own decision-making board and some of their priorities differ. Applicants looking to apply for funding should check their eligibility before doing so.
