When you register you are entitled to a treatment plan (if you ask for it) including a breakdown of how much each kind of treatment is likely to cost. You are also entitled to certain other things, including emergency treatment when the surgery is closed and free replacement of certain crowns and fillings that fail within one year of being put in.

You are entitled to free dental care if:

- you are under 18 years old (or 19 and still in full-time education);

- you are pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months;

- you or your partner are receiving Income Support or Family Credit;
