The National Youth Agency: Youthaction celebrates young people'scommunity contribution

1 min read

Youthaction celebrates the many ways in which young people contribute to their communities and take action on the issues that matter to them.

The Spring 2007 issue is published to coincide with Volunteers' Week, which takes place from 1 to 7 June.

The magazine, written in young people's own words and telling their own stories, is being distributed to young people and youth organisations to inspire them and help put youth action on the map.

It features articles on getting a taste for volunteering, supporting other young people, volunteering, problem-solving, working with the wider community and improving public services, alongside a special look at the Actions Speak Louder... competition. A list of contact details for organisations and national events and initiatives will help individuals and organisations get started.
