1 min read

Catherine Wilson, development manager for counselling services at Youth Access (pictured right, at the awards ceremony) collected the award for the organisation's Breaking Down the Barriers project, which won the BACP Research Award (post-qualification/student researcher). The awards aim to reward excellence in counselling research, enhance the evidence base for counselling and improve the overall quality of research.

The award was presented by Professor Glenys Parry, chair of the BACP Research Committee, who called the Breaking Down the Barriers project "an excellent piece of work".
