The National Youth Agency: YALP briefing focuses on youth arts

The second in the series of briefing papers from the Young Adults Learning Partnership (YALP) looks at how getting involved in art-based activities can be effective practice for learning.

The paper explains what is meant by youth arts, why they are effective and lists some benefits. It features a case study of Creative Learning at the Lyric, Hammersmith to provide an insight into the outcomes that can be achieved. It also provides a list of key organisations, further information and resources.

- The paper, Youth Arts and Learning, is available from Nicola Aylward at YALP. Call 0116 204 7059 or email nicola.aylward@niace.org.uk.
