The National Youth Agency: Thinking seriously

There are still places available on the "Thinking seriously about youth work and work with young people" symposium, organised by the Youth & Policy editorial board and supported by The National Youth Agency.

The event, which takes place at Hinsley Hall, Leeds on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 March next year provides an opportunity to discuss youth work in a sustained, reflective and critical manner with colleagues from different settings and localities.

Papers already offered for discussion include Dilemmas of school-based youth work and Youth work: the essence of practice.

- For further information see the summer issue of Youth & Policy, the journal devoted to the critical study of youth affairs, youth policy and youth work published by The NYA, or email: cyw.conference@googlemail.com.
