To mark the issue the editors invited 30 individuals to reflect on aspects of youth policy and youth work practice during the last 25 years. Tony Jeffs (bottom right), one of the founding editors who also edited the 100th issue said: "It says much for the kindness and support of these individuals that a special commemorative issue containing 25 articles to celebrate 25 years of publishing resulted. We'd like to thank not only those who have contributed to this issue but to the hundreds of authors and reviewers who have generously supported the journal in the past."
Among the contributors to the 100th issue are Bernard Davies, Howard Williamson, Tom Wylie, Tim Burke, Tony Jeffs, John Pitts, Keith Popple and Mark Smith.
