The National Youth Agency marked its move to new premises and the 40th anniversary of the Youth Service Information Service, the forerunner to The NYA , with an afternoon of celebration in its new offices at Eastgate House.
The new building was officially opened by Phil Hope, MP for Corby and Northamptonshire and a former employee of The National Youth Agency.
The afternoon also featured a performance by Immediate Theatre, a young people's participatory workshop celebrating diversity in the community, as well as speeches by Bishop Roger Sainsbury, chair of The National Youth Agency and Tom Wylie, chief executive.
The agency also hosted a debate entitled Rude, Intolerant and Antisocial: The menace on our streets, chaired by NYA patron Kierra Box.
