THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: The National Youth Agency looks topromote intergenerational work

1 min read

The Agency is particularly interested in identifying and offering practical support to innovative work that focuses on challenging stereotypes, reducing the fear of crime, sharing oral history and recapturing and reassessing the transition of culture. "We would like to explore and build upon those aspects that generations have in common such as identity, status and gender, rather than focus on the differences that keep them apart," said Merlynne Francique, programme manager.

Selected organisations will have access to networking seminars run by the Agency. The main aim of these will be to share experiences and stimulate new approaches and outcomes as well as raising pertinent issues. The organisations will also be offered the opportunity to publicise their projects through articles in the Agency's publications.
