The National Youth Agency: Resources supporting positive activities and voluntary action are published online

The National Youth Agency's youth action team has published a range of new and updated listings to support young people taking part in positive activities and those managing or supporting voluntary action.

"Grants for young people's positive activities" provides details of organisations and schemes to which young people seeking funding for their own projects can apply, while "Wards for young people's positive activities" provides a list of organisations/schemes who offer forms of recognition for those taking part.

There is also a revised resource list, "Supporting young people's voluntary action", intended to help those involved in managing or supporting young people's voluntary action to identify a range of relevant resources to help improve practice. All three are available free as downloads at www.nya.org.uk/youthactionresources. The site also includes free resources raising awareness of youth action and sharing good practice.
