Viv McKee, The NYA's director of policy and development, is one of the keynote speakers at the event, which will hear about the challenges of recent national policy developments and discuss innovative approaches to creative spaces. It will bring together policymakers, practitioners, researchers, youth agencies and young people to scrutinise plans for young people's services and new models for youth centres and other learning and creative opportunities. The event builds on organiser Bisset Adams' practice and research into planning new spaces for young people and the University of East London's reputation for inclusive learning, community engagement and work with young people.
