- The contribution of youth work to the local authority;
- The local authority contribution to wider services to young people;
- Community cohesion;
- Quality development in service delivery.
Proposals will be considered for projects to run from 1 June 2004 to 31 March 2005. Exceptionally, the need for an extended lifespan will be considered. Grants will normally be in the range of 20-50k, although the emphasis is on projects that add significant value regardless of size.
The LGA and The NYA will expect projects to provide learning and experience for the benefit of youth work locally, regionally, and nationally. Dissemination of findings is therefore an integral part of the role of the PIN commissioned projects, and evidence of pre-planning of this key aspect will be sought.
