The National Youth Agency: NYA looks for comments on development ofworkforce

1 min read

One of the recommendations of the Workforce Development Implementation Group's report, published in July 2003, was that The National Youth Agency develop revised guidance and an accreditation process for staff development policies. The NYA has commissioned a project to take this work forward.

The contractors have now produced draft documents and The NYA wishes to consult youth work employers to see if the material meets their needs.

Comments are sought from local authority youth services, voluntary sector youth work organisations, trade unions and any other organisations and individuals that wish to contribute.

The consultation documents and a questionnaire for completion are now available on The National Youth Agency web site at www.nya.org.uk or from Kerry Harrison. For further information, email: kerryh@nya.org.uk.
