Rogers said: "I'm delighted to see this book published. Positive work with young women, work that motivates and inspires them, is one of the reasons that I came into youth work. It was then, and it remains today, an important part of the youth work curriculum. Topics such as living a healthy lifestyle, being in positive relationships and building self-esteem and image will always be high priorities in young women's lives, and rightly so."
She stressed the importance of the book as a resource and welcomed the timing of its arrival: "Using this book will help youth workers improve young women's confidence and assertiveness and enable them to learn new skills. It's particularly appropriate that The National Youth Agency is launching it today on International Women's Day, which supports all of these ambitions for young women."
