The National Youth Agency: The NYA throws a little book at booze

1 min read

Providing a host of activities to explore alcohol issues with young people, it offers about 30 tried and tested ideas and favourites for work with young people aged 13 to 16.

It is simple to use and split into three sections - warm-ups, activities and reviewing. The first section offers straightforward exercises to open a session dealing with alcohol, while the activities section includes ideas for group and individual work covering information and knowledge. This section explores attitudes and develops skills and knowledge, all in a fun way that young people will enjoy.

The final exercises suggest a few ideas for reviewing and reinforcing learning.
