The National Youth Agency: New series of free training will explore attitudes towards money

1 min read
The first of The National Youth Agency's (NYA) new series of free one-day money coaching seminars for youth workers and other professionals who work with young people, Money Mastery, kicks off on 6 October with an event in Peterborough.

This event is followed with others during October in Manchester (14), Birmingham (15) and Llandudno (20). The series runs through to May 2010 in various locations across the UK and full details are on The NYA website at www.nya.org.uk.

In addition to Money Mastery a new course entitled Money Mastery Meets the Benefits Trap will be on offer. Both courses are free and open to youth workers and other professionals who work with young people.

Money Mastery offers delegates the chance to explore the fascinating psychology of money and behaviour in order to understand how actions are driven by feelings, beliefs and values, and to use this to positively impact young people's goal setting and motivation. It will also develop tools and techniques for empowering young people around their finances, and provide a new sense of freedom and confidence around money.
