The National Youth Agency: New quality mark challenge for servicesfor young people

2 mins read

YSQM: Quality Mark for Services for Young People has been designed as a management tool to support an organisation's development of its quality management systems and improve its services to young people.

It tests the processes and structures across 11 areas covering policy and strategy, people, and partnerships and resources. Its strength lies in the fact that it is the only quality mark specifically aimed at services for young people and has been developed over the past three years with extensive road-testing of the standards by a range of organisations working with young people. The mark was commissioned by the Department for Education and Skills out of its Transforming Youth Work programme.
