The National Youth Agency: New activities pack is getting it right for young people's health

1 min read
A new Health Activities Resource Pack has been launched by The National Youth Agency (NYA).

The pack, featuring background briefings, over 60 group work activities, a photo pack and a DVD, is being promoted at a series of events around England over the summer. The pack and training in its use are free to delegates at these events, although there is a charge of £20 to cover administration. For those unable to attend the events, copies of the pack will be available to purchase from NYA Sales later in the year.

The pack was extensively tested with groups of young people all around England and is suitable for use by a broad cross section of professionals working with young people. It splits the health curriculum into four key strands - healthy lifestyle; healthy relationships and sex; mental and emotional wellbeing; and substance use - and provides an expert background briefing on each area, together with a range of activities to explore each area in more depth.
