The National Youth Agency is supporting a national conference for informal educators working in formal settings to help explore practice and think about the future within a context of change.
It is hoped that the conference will lead to the founding of a national organisation bringing together informal educators and youth workers operating in schools and colleges. The intention is to create a network that will enable practitioners to exchange good practice, share ideas and raise the profile of their contribution. The two-day event will be held at York St John College on 22 and 23 June. Further details are available from Sara Dickinson on sarad@nya.org.uk.
