The intention is to create a network that will enable practitioners to exchange good practice, share ideas and help them raise the profile of their contribution.
The programme brings together a range of keynote speakers and practitioner-led workshops and will conclude with the launch of The National Network of Informal Education in Formal Settings. Delegates will be able to attend a choice of four workshops from the following options: informal education and youth work in schools; youth work and extended schools; cross-curricular working; further education and informal education; youth work beyond the mainstream; youth work: education or social control?; outcomes and evidence; and managing youth work in schools.
