In November 2007, the Hackney project will launch a lasting collaboration with the Palestinian group to develop and promote - among both peers and youth organisations - an international approach to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Erica, a member of the Hear by Right project, explained how the initiative began: "We first got together for different aims, but once we all had watched the film Forbidden Rights made by the Palestinian children and Mouth That Roars, we all agreed that we wanted to do more. We wanted justice and equality, not just for the Palestinian children, but for children all around the world. We aim to make a real change - to make people listen to the real voice behind the stereotypes."
