National Youth Agency: Hear by Right and Early Years

The National Youth Agency is planning a session with the Early Years National Learning Group to explore using Hear by Right, the NYA's participation framework tool, with newly borns to 5-year-olds.

It will be held in Leicester on 28 January 2010. Jake Manning, NYA participation officer, said: "The free session will provide a great opportunity to network, have your questions answered and discover how to access other Hear by Right and participation support.

"Delegates will also be able to contribute to a Hear by Right briefing and toolkit for early years practitioners."

To take part go to www.participationworks.org.uk/training or email Jake Manning on jakem@nya.org.uk.

Look out for a new Hear by Right briefing - Hear by Right in Health Services: Children and Young People's Participation in PCTs, Hospitals and Other Health Settings - available soon from the National Youth Agency.
