This is one of the key findings in a national evaluation of the programme carried out by the Centre for Education & Industry at the University of Warwick. But the report warns that Getting Connected has now reached a critical stage in its national development. "If the high quality of provision is to be sustained, priorities need to be agreed at a national level in terms of consolidation and/or continued expansion and, given the increasing demands on the central team and trainers, the provision of additional central and regional resources," it says.
