The National Youth Agency: Events offer the complete package of information, ideas and support

1 min read
The National Youth Agency's (NYA) Youth Work for Health team is organising a series of regional events to help voluntary and community sector organisations improve the services they offer on health within non-formal education.

Delegates at the events, taking place during June and July, will receive a free copy of the forthcoming Health Activities Resource Pack - a new group work education resource for everyone working with young people on health issues.

Richard McKie, Youth Work for Health team leader at The NYA, said: "This new pack is full of helpful background information and contains over 60 activities tested by young people covering the broad areas of young people's health - healthy lifestyles, healthy relationships, mental and emotional wellbeing and substance use.

"It's a complete package of information, ideas and support for face-to-face staff and, thanks to funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families, we're able to give each delegate a free copy."
