As a young person, the opportunity to go to a party conference does not come very often, so I felt privileged to be able to visit all three this year.
My aim was to investigate which party proposed the best policies towards children and young people, meeting with politicians and councillors from each party to discuss the way forward.
The first of the three conferences was the Liberal Democrats in Brighton. The most noticeable thing was the age of the people at the conference- I was told by one of the stallholders that "it's the same faces every year". Despite being 20 years younger than everyone else I felt peculiarly welcome.
