The National Youth Agency: Embedding quality in youth services

The National Youth Agency's Quality Mark team is holding training events for organisations undertaking the Quality Mark self-assessment process and National Award.

There are three events to choose from - Getting Started on the Quality Mark (23 April at Austin Court, Birmingham), Evidencing Impact (1 July at The Gestalt Centre, London) and Preparing for the National Award (21 May at The NYA, Leicester).

Sue Quinn, Quality Mark manager at The NYA, said: "Quality services for young people don't just happen. They require good planning, consistent quality processes and procedures, a skilled and supported workforce and processes in place for young people to make their impact. By using our self-assessment framework, organisations will be able to check monitoring and reviewing procedures and how management information is used to improve the quality, impact and outcomes of an organisation."
