The National Youth Agency: Comment - End of an era but we'relooking forward

1 min read

There's something of a sense of loss among many staff within The NYA's communications section. Some of us have helped develop a service open to all for 20 years or more. We have attempted to develop a culture that is helpful and responsive to those with specific, complicated and time-consuming enquiries, those wanting a simple phone number, and those who come with a vague, half-formed idea that there might be something or other that they might want to know about youth work.

Now we shall be focusing on getting as much information as we can on to an improved web site. This should ensure that the many people who contact us wanting to know how to become a youth worker and where they can train will continue to get the information they need quickly and free of charge.
