THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: Citizenship at The NYA

1 min read

Vanessa, a qualified teacher and youth worker, said: "Citizenship has long been the mainstay of the informal education sector's approach to work with young people and, as it is now part of the National Curriculum, it has become an area that all youth workers, Connexions Personal Advisers, PSHE teachers and anyone involved in face-to-face youth work should gain experience in."

"As with the previous workshop, there will be an opportunity for delegates to share best practice and discover what's working in other parts of the country."

The seminar will start at 10.30 am and finish at 3.30 pm. It costs 120 to include lunch, refreshments and a copy of the recently published Young People and Citizenship book.
