All Different All Equal is a Council of Europe campaign encompassing the three themes of diversity, human rights and participation.
Its aim is to encourage and enable young people to participate in building peaceful societies based on human rights, diversity and inclusion in a spirit of respect, tolerance and mutual understanding.
Education minister Parmjit Dhanda MP told the conference: "The European campaign, which is based on the slogan and logo first used in a similar youth campaign in 1995, is about respecting diversity, knowing about human rights and standing up against the discrimination of others.
"We hope that some of the big themes of the European campaign can be translated effectively into local action that can truly engage young people and make the sometimes abstract or worthy principles more meaningful.
