Helen joins us from Milton Keynes YMCA, the lead body for Connexions in Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, where she successfully put together a tender to build capacity in the voluntary sector across three counties.
In her new role, Helen will cover 26 NSF-funded projects, and is looking forward to getting to grips with matters from a national perspective.
"It will be fascinating to visit the projects and look at how we can help them meet the contract requirements laid out in the NSF agreement and also at the transition to children's trusts and sustainability in general," she says. " I'm so impressed by the impact NSF has already made. It has gone above and beyond its initial targets, and has been a phenomenal success. It has also given us a catalogue of exciting best practice and innovation that we can duplicate across the country."
