The National Youth Agency: A reciprocal fond farewell from NYAchief executive Tom Wylie

1 min read

Speaking at the reception, Wylie said it had been a pleasure to work for The NYA and as part of a thriving and progressive team. He looked back on the challenges and pleasures of working in support of youth services over the past decade and added that he had high hopes for the future of both The NYA and youth services in general. He joked: "I had not expected to stay so long but, as many of you have found, The NYA sort of grows on you."

A key player in the development of youth policy over recent years, and a great advocate for young people and youth work in the media, Wylie has recently authored a report tracing The NYA's history and charting its progress.
