 - What is the Football Foundation?

The Football Foundation is the UK's largest sports charity and is funded by the Premier League, The Football Association and the government. This money is directed into improving local facilities and schemes that use sport to address issues such as obesity, education and antisocial behaviour. Since its launch in 2000, the foundation has invested more than £640m into projects.

- How does it make a difference to young people's lives?

It funds a range of schemes, such as Playing for Success, which offers academic help to struggling pupils, and Kickz, which sees coaches offer football, street dance or basketball, as well as work and training for young people from deprived areas.
