Terrence Higgins Trust

What is it? Sexual health and HIV charity Terrence Higgins Trust is offering sex and relationships education grants to young people. The deadline for applications is 25 October.

How much is on offer? Grants of up to £1,000 are available for young people in England.

What will it fund? The grants will be given to teenagers who come up with innovative and creative ideas about how to educate their friends about sex and relationships.

The grants are being offered as part of the charity's Young Leaders project for teenagers aged 13 to 19. The project, which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, asks young people to build up their own and other people's knowledge around issues such as safer sex and relationships.

Who can apply? The trust recommends young people get together with their local youth club, school or college to develop their ideas and then make an application to their local Young Leaders regional board.
