Funding Grants of up to £1,000 are available. Now entering its fourth round, the programme has so far handed out grants of up to £88,000 to 110 projects.
Funder Young Leaders is a peer-led sexual health and relationship education programme run by HIV charity the Terrence Higgins Trust. The programme offers grants to young people to develop ways of increasing their own and friends' knowledge around issues such as safer sex, relationships and sexually transmitted infections.
Aim The grants are available for schemes led by young people that aim to raise awareness of sexual health issues among their peers. Previous projects include the Safer Sex Awareness Hour, a radio show broadcast in London giving advice on sexual health, contraception, pregnancy and relationships in between songs.
