The Home Office's latest anti-drugs campaign is warning of possible links between cannabis and mental health problems.
The campaign, by the government's teenage drug information service Frank, includes TV advertising depicting the widely different emotions of those who take the drug.
The campaign, which is aimed at young people, urges those with concerns about the drug to call a helpline and has been launched because of the dominance of the stronger skunk variant of the drug on the market.
This latest attempt by the government to warn young people about the dangers of drugs offers youth workers a useful news hook to initiate discussions about drugs.
