Starbucks Youth Action programme

1 min read Funding
The Starbucks Youth Action programme aims to help young people aged between 16 and 24 years old bring their social action projects to life. It is delivered through a partnership between youth charity UK Youth and international coffee chain Starbucks.

What will it fund?

The organisations are looking for projects that provide a positive benefit to the local community and that look to enhance the young project leaders' employability and leadership skills. Project milestones and achievements can be tracked through a downloadable app, with a leadership qualification also available. In addition, young people can gain access to job and apprenticeship vacancies within the Starbucks group.

How much is available and to who?

Funding of up to £1,000 is available to each social action project, with additional contribution for youth workers' support. To be eligible for the funding, two young people need to lead the project and engage a further 50 young people throughout the course of the project. Furthermore, young people must meet the age requirement and need to have a youth worker or training organisations to support them.
